Providing essential support with dignity amidst ongoing hardship
About Project :
The Palestinian society faces severe challenges marked by widespread human rights violations, particularly the right to life. Palestinians experience harsh conditions including restricted movement, high unemployment, and limited access to essential services like healthcare and education. The economic situation is dire, with high poverty and food insecurity exacerbated by unemployment. Psychological distress from ongoing violence and instability adds to their suffering.
Following the events of October 7th, the situation has worsened with increased military presence, tighter security measures, and intensified restrictions, further straining Palestinian communities. Both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank face significant hardships, including blockades and destruction of neighborhoods.
Our emergency appeal project aims to address these critical needs by providing food, sanitation kits, medication, and other essentials while respecting dignity. Operating in unstable areas like Tulkarim, Nurshams, Jenin, and Balata has been challenging, with ongoing difficulties due to violence and damage to partner organizations. While conditions in southern West Bank are slightly better, they remain challenging due to frequent raids. Overall, the project responds to urgent needs resulting from the actions of the Israeli colonial regime.
Goals and Objectives :
- The primary objective of this project was to assist and support families in need while preserving their dignity.
- The needs of the community were immense and challenging to fulfill.
- Despite these challenges, we successfully provided assistance to those suffering under the hardships of the Israeli colonial regime.
- Our efforts were focused on meeting immediate needs while respecting the humanity and dignity of the individuals we served.

The project successfully provided timely and targeted assistance, effectively alleviating the pressing needs of our vulnerable population.
Stories of Success :
The entire implementation of this project stands as a testament to success, with the work in Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps being particularly noteworthy. The significance of these efforts stems from the harsh and unstable conditions under which the residents of these camps have been living. These conditions include daily raids, the destruction of infrastructure, drone strikes, assassinations, and numerous other unbearable challenges. Despite these obstacles, we were able to address the needs of many families—reaching as many as possible. This support came in the form of food parcels, sanitation kits, milk formula, and assistance for the disabled, elderly, and diabetic children. Throughout the project, we ensured that every segment of society was covered, providing comprehensive support to the most vulnerable.
