Founded in 1998 within Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, Palestine, Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society serves as a beacon of hope and inspiration for marginalized Palestinians. Officially recognized as a not-for-profit organization in August 2003 under the law Number 1 of Charitable Societies and Non-governmental Associations, 2000, by the Ministry of Interior of the Palestinian National Authority, Alrowwad holds license number BL-360-CU. Additionally, it obtained license number 239/B/100/2009 from the Ministry of Culture. Catering to children, youth, and women, Alrowwad is deeply embedded within the local community.

Volunteering with Alrowwad at the Aida Camp during Ramadan has been an incredibly positive and enriching experience. The program's focus on preparing and distributing meals to those in need within the camp truly exemplifies the spirit of community and generosity. Our role involved the careful preparation of nutritious meals, ensuring that each dish was made with great care and respect for the traditions of fasting.
Visiting Alrowwad and witnessing the artistic performances presented by their talented teams has been an exceptionally rewarding experience. We firmly reject any funding that is conditioned on political positions, as it undermines the rights of the Palestinian people. We also reject all attempts to criminalize the Palestinian national struggle.
Alrowwad's only branch is located in Aida Camp, Bethlehem, Palestine. We do not have any branches in other cities or countries. However, we have supporters and friends of Alrowwad spread across Europe and America.
We have a relief program because there is a significant need for humanitarian support within our community. Our relief efforts are designed to address urgent needs and provide assistance to those affected by crises or hardships. Through this program, we aim to offer immediate help and contribute to individuals and families in need.
